During the holidays a lot of children and teenagers can neglect their oral health. The usual routine stops and sometimes regular tooth brushing can too, with a lot of kids forgetting to brush their teeth every morning and every night. People on holiday can also be bit more relaxed with the food they eat and may eat more sugary and less nutritious foods. This can result in the start of tooth decay as well as accelerate damage that has already started.  Simply remembering to brush every morning and every night before bed as well as being mindful not to have too many sugary foods is still important even though it’s the holidays. And if you are going away, don’t forget to pack your toothbrush (and floss )
