18 Mar COVID-19 …the things we do
At More Smiles, the health and safety of our patients, and, our staff is our number one priority. We constantly monitor professional advice about COVID-19, and will strictly follow any future recommendations of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee to ensure you remain safe and healthy.
Regular patients know that we have always been particular with our infection control measures and always go above and beyond what is legally required to keep you and our staff safe.
We will continue to ensure the highest standard of treatment by
- Wearing masks and gloves
- Changing the protective equipment (PPE) for each patient we treat
- Wearing protective eyewear and clinical gowns
- Observing ‘Hand Hygiene’ measures including hand-washing and using alcohol-based hand rubs appropriately
We have provided multiple places within the office for you to practice good hand hygiene by use of alcohol-based hand rub solutions.
We also routinely disinfect any hard surfaces you may touch whilst you are in the office, to reduce the chance of cross-infection within the office environment.
We remain open and welcome patient appointments.
We are confident that our standard precautions will ensure your safety during treatment and prevent any spread of a virus-borne infection.
Of course, if you notice cold or flu-like symptoms, a raised temperature, or shortness of breath, please contact your medical practitioner for advice. Other conditions that call for action on your part include that you have had contact with a confirmed case of the virus.
Please let us know, also and we can reschedule your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact one of our friendly reception team on 5444 6166
