Bite splints for clenching or grinding
If you grind or clench your teeth, you will slowly be wearing away its protective layer. This damage is irreversible and combined with this silent destruction you may also have symptoms such as jaw joint pain or clicking, headaches or earaches.
A custom made bite splint can protect your teeth against this damage and reduce the tendency to grind. It may also relieve the associated discomfort whilst we asses the reasons for your grinding or clenching.
This sometimes involuntary action can be associated with stress or an unconscious attempt to smooth out a poor bite.
